My interest in real estate came from my personal desire 20 + years ago simply to purchase an investment property. Up until that point my life was very oriented towards Nature: running/hiking in the mountains, creating large organic gardens, rescuing animals in need, taking long Sunday drives with my husband often covering hundreds of miles experiencing hidden small towns and communities and professionally working as a NY licensed massage therapist (since 1987).

I then discovered that the hands-on approach I developed through massage seamlessly translated into real estate, especially the ability to listen and understand my clients’ needs, whether they come from a seller, a weekender, an investor, or a first-time homebuyer.

I grew up in a very special area atop a mountain with lots of protected land. Although I have left at various times in the past to pursue my massage work in California and Florida, the Hudson Valley is and remains my home. The Hudson Valley is full of health and beauty – and endless enjoyment.

There is a beautiful soulfulness in working in real estate. Yes, it’s a way to make a living, but it is also something more: that kind of emotional component that comes only from dealing with “home.”
